Chris Gorman is the Managing Partner of Gorman Consulting Group, LLC, an Arizona Accounting Firm that prides itself in taking complex accounting and financial issues and presenting them in an understandable manner. Mr. Gorman is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts(NACVA). For over 18 years, he has served as a court-appointed special master, receiver and expert witness in various civil and family law matters. Mr. Gorman digs into the details and provides the facts regarding asset tracing, marital waste, determination of income for spousal and child support, fraud, embezzlement, and other types forensic and financial issues. He has testified numerous times and worked on hundreds of matters for marital dissolution, civil litigation and bankruptcy.  Mr. Gorman is a graduate of Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Accountancy.

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Association of Certified Fraud Examiners

To earn the CFE credential you must meet minimum academic and professional requirements, be of high moral character, and agree to abide by the bylaws and Code of Professional Ethics of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. The individual must pass a test that focuses on the four major disciplines that comprise the fraud examination body of knowledge: Fraud Prevention and Deterrence; Fraudulent Financial Transactions; Fraud Investigation; and Legal Elements of Fraud.

Master Analyst In Financial Forensics (MAFF) National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts

To earn the MAFF credential you must meet a high level of professional experience, prove a professional stature in the community, and display quality work product over numerous matters. The individual must pass a 5 hour proctored test that focuses on the following: Commercial Damages and Lost Profits; Matrimonial Litigation; Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Restructuring; Business Valuation in Litigation; Business and Intellectual Property Damages; Personal Injury and Wrongful Death; Forensic Accounting; and Fraud Risk Management.
