Our Approach
We are not typical accountants. We have been involved in numerous family law, civil, bankruptcy, and arbitration proceedings as consultants, experts, receivers, trustees, and special masters to various courts. We pride ourselves in our ability to take complex accounting and financial issues and present them in an understandable manner. We focus on the big picture and work with attorneys throughout all aspects of a case.
"Our biggest complement is when we get hired by opposing counsel on the next case!"
Our Story
In 2001, John J. Gorman Jr. sold his 100+ person accounting firm Toback CPAs, and started a small boutique firm with his son, Chris J. Gorman. Gorman Consulting grew to become a widely respected expert witness firm, assisting in hundreds of civil, criminal and federal cases. Mark Hughes joined in 2012 and has become a leader in the valley regarding business valuation and complex accounting litigation. Chris is a leader in asset tracing and family law financial issues. We believe that knowledge and the ability to teach are what makes an expert great. John passed away in 2018 but his firm lives on.
